News: Line Up Expands

The 2018 Great Electric Train Show layout line up continues to grow to fill the new venue at the Arena MK in Milton Keynes on the weekend of October 13/14 2018.

Following on from the previous announcement of the first 10 layouts, the next five can now be revealed - Ladeside Diesel Depot in 'O' gauge by Mike Bisset (HM65), Lee-on-the-Solent in 'P4' by South Hants MRC (HM127), Ashington in 'OO' by Philip Standen (HM5), Buckshee in 'OO' by Redditch MRC (HM58) and Jamie Mathlin's Oakley Green in 'OO' (HM104).

Trade stands for the show continue to be confirmed too, with the list now standing at more than 30 including Hornby Hobbies, Accurascale/Irish Railway Models, Kernow Model Rail Centre, Lord and Butler, TMC, KS Laser Designs, DC Kits, Model Rail Baseboards, Train-Tech, Ten Commandments, Green Scene, Grimy Times, ADM Turntables and more. The new venue for the 2018 Great Electric Train Show will be served by a shuttle bus linking Milton Keynes Central railway station with Arena MK. Train services are provided by Virgin Trains, Southern and West Midlands Trains.
