News: Layout Guest List Expands

The layout line up for the Great Electric Train Show on October 12/13 continues to expand with six more of the 30-layout list being revealed.
Joining the guest list are Joshua Lovell and Barrie Jones’ Crossley Scrap (HM142), Mike Kelly’s Caradon Junction (HM133) and David Dann-Gibbons’ Wendover (HM135) in OO gauge, plus Peter Brackenbury’s Middle Elmton (HM116) in ‘N’ gauge, Andrew Bailey’s Avyn-a-Llyin (HM129) modelled in ‘OO9’ narrow gauge and Phillip Hutchings’ 3mm scale London Transport theme layout Addison Road (HM144).
These new additions join the previously announced list consisting of ‘OO’ layouts Tytton Hall Yard (HM141), Canute Road Quay (HM142), Kirkby Stephen West (HM5) and Hornby Magazine’s West Coast Cement (HM Yearbook No. 11), plus Little Aller Junction in ‘N’ gauge (HM123) and ‘O’ gauge layouts Old Elms Park (HM141) and Polcombe Depot (HM145 – on sale in June).
Advance tickets are on sale now for the show offering a discount over on-the-day prices. In addition, kids enter free on Sunday October 13 (maximum of two with a paying adult). Advance tickets are priced at £10 for adults (£9 for subscribers), £7 for children (Saturday only) and family (2+2) £29.
Prices on the day are £12 for adults, £9 for children (Saturday) and £34 for a family ticket.
