Features: Minories, 'EM', 1960s/1970s

Published 7 August 2019, 15:41

Minories represents a down-at-heel railway terminal in the London suburbs during the late 1960s/early 1970s. The layout is representative of the suburban lines out of Kings Cross and St Pancras during this period, prior to electrification and is based on a classic design developed by the late Cyril Freezer, showing just what can be achieved in a limited space. Most of the motive power and rolling stock is ready-to-run, supplemented by some kit-built items, much of which has been modified and detailed. Minories is set to appear in HM149 (November 2019).
