Features: Loop Lane, 'OO', 1980s/1990s

Published 7 August 2019, 16:28

Loop Lane is a compact 6ft x 1ft 'OO' gauge micro-layout set in the 1980s and 1990s and represents a small loading/unloading yard during the transition from BR blue to Railfreight red-stripe era. The layout is packed with small details and utilises a Scalescenes box file building kit and several card kits from Scale Model Scenery. Loop Lane features Peco bullhead track and is Digital Command Control (DCC) operated using the NCE Powercab system. Baseboards are by Tim Horn. Locomotives and rolling stock are mostly ready-to-run items, with some kit-built vehicles too, all of which have been expertly weathered.
