Features: Smallwood, 'OO', 1970s

Published 5 September 2019, 09:19

Smallwood is a fictional town location set in the mid-1970s. This multi-level 'OO' gauge exhibition layout was built by Redditch Model Railway Club and features a down-at-heel terminus station, parcels depot and stabling point on the upper level, while the lower level features the remains of lines serving a disused station, which now form exchange sidings for freight activities. Digitally controlled, the layout is firmly set in the BR blue era.
